This document regulates the Privacy Policy of the website owned by the UNIVERSIDAD INTERNACIONAL DE LA RIOJA, S.A. (hereinafter, “UNIR” or “Website”).

Application of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy regulates the data processing performed by UNIR with regard to users accessing or contacting UNIR via its Website–old www.unir.net–.The above encompasses the processing of the personal data of (i) students, former students and potential students, (ii) lecturers, employees or candidates, (iii) suppliers and/or possible suppliers, (iv) investors and/or possible investors, and (v) any other user who access or transmits information via the Website. This Privacy Policy, therefore, reflects the information on processing with regard to the different categories of data subjects above.
Personal Data processed by UNIR, purpose and legal grounds
You are hereby informed that all the data that UNIR requests or may request are necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy and any failure to provide them will prevent us from contacting you or processing the application you submit to UNIR. Moreover, UNIR reserves the right to not respond to or process applications that do not include the data requested.

Furthermore, we inform you that merely browsing the Website will not, in general, signify the processing of your personal data except, in specific cases, your IP address and your browsing-related data, so as to process and optimise the Website based on the UNIR’s legitimate interest in preserving the security and integrity of the Website.
Third parties to whom your data may be transmitted
The personal data you provide to UNIR may be disclosed to third parties to which UNIR is obliged to transmit information, such as the public authorities, in order to comply with the requirements of said authorities and the applicable law.
Data security
UNIR has in place appropriate policies and technical and organizational measures to safeguard and protect your personal data from undesirable actions such as illegal or non-authorised access, loss or accidental destruction, damage, illegal or non-authorised disclosure. UNIR shall also adopt all reasonable precautions to ensure that the employees with access to your personal data have received adequate training.
In any event, you are informed that any data transmission via the Internet is not wholly secure and as such, it is performed at your own risk. Although we will make our best efforts to protect your personal data, UNIR cannot guarantee the security of the personal data transmitted via our Website.
Data storage
The storage time of your data will depend on the duration of your relationship with UNIR and the legally provided timeframes. In this respect, UNIR’s criteria for establishing the storage periods of your data were determined in accordance with the requisites set forth in the applicable laws, regulations and legal guidelines, together with the operational requisites of UNIR with regard to proper management of its relations with the different categories of data subjects.
Your data will be stored for the duration of any commercial or contractual relation with UNIR.
Upon conclusion of this relation, your personal data will be erased when all the actions necessary to manage and finalise any obligation that may exist between the parties. During this period, all the necessary administrative formalities shall be carried out except when you have provided your express consent to receiving commercial communications or participating in the selection processes of the rest of the group companies, in which case your data will be stored until you express your objection to same.
Without detriment to above, your data will be stored and duly blocked during such time as any liabilities may arise from the execution of our contractual or precontractual relation, and to comply with other legal obligations to which UNIR is subject.
In this regard, UNIR warrants that it will not process this data unless necessary to present, exercise or defend against any claims or when UNIR is required to furnish same to the Public Administration, Courts or Judges during the statute of limitations on your rights or legal obligations.
Your data protection rights

Information on the profiling of personal data
We inform you that, at the time you request information about one of our studies through any of our web forms, your personal data will be profiled.
